F is pretty good at finding the right gift for me and he did really well this Christmas with these two beauties.
We spend Christmas lunch with his family and we do a $20 Kris Kringle and I received a voucher from a major bookstore.
I hate large bookstores with a passion, no one who works there seems to have any knowledge about the books themselves just where they can be found. So I tend to shop at my local small bookstore (a wonderful one called Lindfield Bookshop). Although I am a lawyer and worked as one for a long time, I also worked in publishing for a few years so I appreciate the love of books found in small independent bookstores.
Well I'm off to the major bookstore this afternoon to use my voucher because those beautiful penguins are on sale at half price, so I can increase my collection by four! Now, the quandary will be which one will I choose.
