This Sydney house found on the Upper North Shore is quite a wonderful example of the design principles of Frank Lloyd Wright, sustainable materials and warm colour palette. These type of houses began being built around the 1950s in the suburbs of the Upper North Shore which border the national parks.
This house has been featured in a few Australian interiors magazines including Belle and House & Garden (can't you tell from the last photo?). It is now up for sale, my sources tell me around AUS$1.5m. When I saw the house on my trawl through house listings, I immediately thought of my girlfriend A from Thrifted Treasure. So A this post is for you and your wonderful tripod and other mid century delights you have.
