A New Toy for Me from Hubby

As a way to stay in touch with my blog friends while on holidays in France and Portugal, isn't he lovely? I picked it up today.

Oh and we leave in 8 days, I'm getting both excited and anxious (about travelling with 2 little boys, especially J, not sure how he will go in such a confined space - if anyone has any ideas about keeping a little boy with sensory processing difficulties calm & entertained I'd appreciate it).

Have a happy weekend.

  3. Yikes! What a fab husband you have :) Woohoo only eight days to go. How exciting, but daunting - travelling long-haul with children can be anything but exciting at times. We used to go armed to the hilt with small toys etc individually wrapped, plus a slew of activities and a good dose of "just breathe and relax Annie". Now the boys are older we take new 'unseen' books, plus laptops and ipods, and rely on the inflight entertainment (although this can and does break down). And it might not be very pc in some quarters, but we also travelled with phenergan to help the boys get off to sleep...

  4. I've had an iPad for a few weeks now and I love it. So good to travel with. Watch those overseas download charges though - so expensive. There are some good apps to entertain children. "hatch" for babies, "ruby repeater", "flight control", "spore", "doodle jump". They're our faves but I think your boys are a bit younger. Oh and "animatch" is cute for kinder age. Have a lovely trip and enjoy the sunshine.

  5. Oh lovely, I got G one for our anniversary and of course H has taken over it! He shows me how to use it, kids! Hope the flight goes well, who are you flying with? Check if you all have individual entertainment units, the movies and games should keep the boys entertained for a good while hopefully.
