Some Beautiful Reading

Do you remember these that F gave as a gift for Christmas last year? These are a part of a collection commissioned by Penguin Classics and designed by Coralie Bickford-Smith. There is a second collection which I have seen in bookstores.

I really love Coralie's design aesthetic and thought I would check to see what else she has done. And look at what I found, aren't they beautiful? I would really love them all, but I can't find them anywhere in Australia, so I'll admire from afar and dream of my shelves being full of these treasures.

And speaking of a beautiful read, I came across this yellow book a few months ago on this website (not sure what took me there, but I'm glad I found it). I would love this on my coffee table. I'm feeling pretty happy with where I am in life, so it would rightfully be on display.

My posts seem to be getting later and later (it is almost 7pm, J will be off to bed in 10mins). I am a very happy and very busy lady at the moment.
Have a happy day.

Just a few things I'm loving/wanting, some desperately!!

My obsession with cows knows no end and this lovely milker would look lovely in my kitchen.

Yes more cows, but these are so cute.

These glass droplets would look lovely in my garden hanging from one of my trees.

These mid-century lamp bases are simply stunning.

I love the modern twist on the traditional charm bracelet .

A unique baby book that comes with its own treasure box.

I love this delicate porcelain key, a cute twist in my vintage key collection.

A red enamel casserole dish, I just love the colour and shape.

Some loveliness from Country Road.

I love their store, but will have to settle for their books.

Some French delights.

I would love the chair in a yellow frame and the sofa in a charcoal.

I would put this vintage rattan basket by my fireplace with my throws.

This pillow belongs on my bed, no doubt about it.

I think this WC sign is so quirky, I would put it up on the door to my powder room.

Have a happy day.

L has begun learning about time, so I think it is time we invested in a wall clock, we currently use the digital clock on the oven or my wrist watch. We have decided to go with the Pugg from Ikea because it has nice big numbers. It is amazing how creative clocks have become and searching around the web I found many that tickled my fancy, above are just a few.
Have a happy day.

My boys just love riding their bikes/trikes. Everyday they jump on the bike after school after a yummy snack of course. Even though the last two weeks it has been incredibly hot and humid, they are still riding around on their bikes working up a sweat. Then they jump into the pool. They have a really lovely life, it makes me so happy to see them running around laughing as they chase each other on their wheels.

So this week in their honour:

Wheely stationery

Breakfast on the run

A "chalk board" print for your teenager's room

Cute wedding invitation

If you are moving

Funky coasters for the bike mad man in your life

Great prints for the playroom

These tea towels are so cute (they have sold out, but there are other lovely things in this store)

Parisian bike, what more do I need to say

Time on the go

Whether you wear silver...

Or gold

On your bike to get the groceries

I really want this stamp

What a great colour

This candle also comes in yellow
